I own a large hotel. It gets a lot of famous visitors. Some very rich people visit the hotel everyday. The hotel has played host to some very prominent politicians as well. A lot of stories on elder abuse are in the headlines every now and then. I recently read of one in which a 90-year-old was badly beaten up, yes beaten up! This incident took place in a nursing home in Alabama.
One day when this lady’s daughter came to meet her mum, like she always did, she was shell-shocked to see her mother all bruised up. She questioned the nurses and officials, but eventually got nothing.
She then decided to take action on her own. She installed hidden security cameras in the room and constantly kept an eye on her mother. Her mother expired in a few days, as it was very obvious. It took her to surprise when she saw that the nurse, who took care of her mother, was the culprit behind those bruises. She kept neglecting her and beating her up. She was also seen removing the mother’s oxygen mask.
I will narrate to you a story of such an incident which took place in another nursing home. A son of an ill-mother went visiting her one day. When he asked her about how the medication was on, she said she didn’t get any medication at all. On asking the nursing home, it was found that she was actually supposed to get medication.

There’s been a lot of disturbing crimes in the news lately where the victim is a female college student.
