I moved to a neighboring state last month because I got a good job offer from one of the company which was based over there. I took a new house and moved with my family and belongings. One of the things that I needed to do urgently was to inform the passport office that I had changed my residential address. Since I was new in town I did not know where the passport office was located I approached my colleague and asked him for help. My colleague told me that I need not go to the passport office to get the address changed on my passport but I could approach the post office that would do this work. So I went to the nearest post office and asked them for a passport address change form. After filling the application form and paying the necessary fees I was told that my passport would be delivered to my house in a couple of days. I thanked my colleague because he saved me valuable time in this new city.
