When All The Expectations Were Shattered To Nothing
I had lots of expectations when I was carrying for the second time. I had planned my pregnancy right down to where to some maternity bras and what foods to eat at particular times of the day. My first daughter would come and kiss my belly often and would say that her brother is inside. She would often have imaginary talk with the baby. When I scanned the fourth month, the doctor said that there was a slight retardation in the growth and asked me eat well. In the end of fifth month, she diagnosed that due to the lack of amniotic fluid, the baby is struggling inside. Then I was hospitalized and costly treatments were given. At the end of sixth month, the doctor predicted that the baby is slowly dying and it had to be expelled out with medicine. We were all disappointed and I cried a lot. I got admitted in the hospital for delivery. The baby died inside my womb in the morning and I gave birth to it in the evening of the same day. It was a girl baby. It was a hard thing for my daughter to digest the matter.
